Home Sweet Bakery
For the first segment of my small business spotlight, I’m going to focus on my favorite local Bakery. Created by a former coworker I look forward to getting notifications that the latest batch is ready for purchase.
These little treats have brightened my day at work several times over! Tres leche, cupcakes, and Boston cream pies make a great snack when you need to treat yourself to something sweet.
Home Sweet Bakery is the newest cottage bakery in Mountain View. Its delightful confectioneries are made from scratch in owner Faith’s home kitchen. Up and coming this bakery has just begun to gain attention and following of those outside the small community it’s sprang from.
Each cake is a work of artistry. If you only get an opportunity to sample one the tres leches don’t pass it up!
Baker Faith is Servesafe certified with several years experience in the quick-service restaurant industry as both a server and a manager. She is uniquely positioned to bring this experience and skill to her newest endeavor. Someday she hopes to move her cakes from her kitchen to a brick and mortar location to provide her customers easier access to their favorite treats.
It’s not all about business though, Faiths love of baking comes from the time she spend in the kitchen with her aunt Belinda learning to bake as a child. Sadly, Belinda has passed leaving her legacy in Faith’s hands.
Faith has chosen to share her legacy through sharing her confections with those who appreciate their decadence.
Her cakes are moist, and sweet and topped with a perfect whipped cream icing.
Home Sweet Bakery’s confections can be ordered through their Facebook Page.
